One of the most recent cases I anxiously bought, since it’s got a unique look that is unlike any other case I have seen. Like the name iFrogz Treadz suggests, the case has the look of a tyre tread and is sold at a friendly price of $14.99. The case is quite thick which translates into stronger protection for both the AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4 models. The cover comes with a layer of anti-dust treatment that keeps the case looking clean and dust-free for months altogether. It allows access to all the ports and controls of the iPhone 4 which is a feature all good cases should ideally have.

The best part about this case that makes it a strong contender in the search for the best case for iPhone 4, is the firm protection it offers to the iPhone. The iPhone 4 Polycarbonate Exo Case is the next case in line in our search for the best case for iPhone 4, and its appearance is most certainly its strongest point. I have bought this one in the colour red, which would also be a good choice for women, since not all men are comfortable with carrying a red case around…I gave this to a friend of mine; lucky her! Anyway, there are two more colors to pick from: Masculine blue and a – more neutral – silver variant.

This case is manufactured by Casecrown which has quite a good range of phone cases for all types of phones. But go in for this case only if you have a Verizon iPhone 4, since its only compatible with that one. The case is specially made using polycarbonate which makes it durable as well as soft. It’s a comfortable case since it feels quite nice to hold it in one’s hand- another feature that women will appreciate. It’s a light-weight phone case that offers protection from dust and scratches like other phone cases. It has a viewing porthole so you could show off the Apple logo on your iPhone 4 as well. Like the other case we had talked about earlier, the iPhone 4 Polycarbonate Exo case does not obstruct the ports and controls of the iPhone. Price is a litlle high-end, but still makes this a very solid choice!

The ZAGG Leather Skin is another case I came across the other day and it’s quite a strong contender in the race for winning the title of the best iPhone 4 case . Its strongest point, like the iFrogz Treadz Case for iPhone 4, is the strong protection it offers. The material used is supposed to be military grade which I guess means that it’s quite thick and strong. It sure looks like that and I’ve had no issues using it since the past 4 months. It has kept my iPhone 4 scratch-free and carrying it around is quite a hassle-free experience since it’s not bulky at all.

The company gives a lifetime guarantee for the case which is why I recommend it as being a strong contender for the title of the best iPhone 4 case. The product can be shipped only within the USA as of now though so if you live in another part of the world, you’ll probably need to wait or get one of your friends in the U.S. to buy it and ship it across. If you like leather skin, you’ll enjoy possessing this stylish case. It also allows access to all the ports and controls of the iPhone 4. The company, ZAGG, is also popular for the Zagg InvisibleSHIELD which is a very popular and hot-selling item. CASE #4 – ISKIN REVO 4

The iSkin Revo 4 is a case I would dare to call the best iPhone 4 case since it has achieved a wonderful balance of all the features that I like for my iPhone 4, plus it offers an exciting two-tone design (YES!). It is totally convenient to use this case, since it is attached to the back of the device and that way it gives complete free access to all its features. The protection is very solid and normally moisture and other impurities can enter your iPhone’s charging port and cause irreparable damage. The Revo 4 integrated port cover seals and guards 24/7.

I loved the colors it’s available in, since they go very well with the two different iPhone 4 colors. So no matter which color you choose, your iPhone gets a neat and sleek look. The case has a hard plastic cover that can be removed easily as and when wishes. Its priced at a spectaculair $39.99, which is certainly not too bad, given the overall quality and look of this potential best case for iPhone 4. Moreover, their included durable ViSOR (Visually Intact Solid Optical Resin) snaps over the screen to offer real screen protection from impacts.

CASE #5 – GELASKINS

There they are again! I wrote about them in my first review and I can tell you: Gelaskins a highly addictive! This time, it was even more difficult for me to settle with just one case – or better named ‘skin’ – so I ended up buying three of them, since they were all so sickly attractive. The design (or should I say artwork?) makes my iPhone look even better then ever before and its been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. There are loads of designs to choose from and the company has used designs and artworks by different artists so there is a lot of variety to choose from.

The skins cover the front, the back and the sides as well so there is design all over the phone. Another reason I personally chose these Gelaskin as a contender in our search for the best case for iPhone 4 is because I liked the fact that there is absolutely no extra weight to be carried around. One of the pains of carrying a mobile phone is the weight one has to carry around but this aspect gets taken care of completely with Gelaskin.

Don’t know if you’ve made up your mind yeton what would be your best case for iPhone 4, but my vote (this time) goes to Gelaskin for the ease of use it offers and for the fabulous look the artworks gives to the phone. What does one look for in that perfect case for one’s dear iPhone 4? Guess what I’m trying to ask is, which is the best iPhone 4 case? There are many contenders for the top slot of being the best case for iphone 4 and we’ll talk about some of them here and how strong their chances are for winning that title. We’ll discuss the features of five out of the top iPhone 4 cases and you could make up your mind according to the parameter that is more important to you to choose the best iPhone 4 case!

The first iPhone 4 case I’ve ever purchased would be the iSkin Duet, with its attractive and sleek design. Its appearance is one of its strongest points which draws customers like honey draws bees. Besides its looks, it offers solid protection for the iPhone as well. Its belt holster can be used as a viewing stand when the iPhone is holstered outwards. One could even plug in one’s earphones and charge the phone when it is positioned this way.

The iSkin duet has a slim design that makes it very convenient to use and carry around. This is important for any phone case in fact since easy portability is something anyone and everyone with a mobile phone would need. If you choose the iskin Duet as the best iPhone 4 case and decide to order it, you will receive an LCD wipe, a Microfiber cloth and an iSkin (fan) sticker besides the solo clip and revoClip holster.

CASE #2 – CHAMELEON GLIDER CASE

The second contender for the title of being the best case for iPhone 4 is the Chameleon Glider Case that is manufactured by a company called CaseCrown. It will leave you poorer by $39.99 but should serve the purpose you intend to buy it for quite well. It’s available in three colors – green, purple and blue and if you’re lucky you might get it at a bargain price of $32.95 like I did, ordering directly from their webshop. Speaking for myself, I quite liked the name – Chameleon Glider Case and I also liked the look of the case. I chose the purple colored case but the other two shades were also quite nice. They’ve given a slightly pale shade to each of the colors which makes the cases appear low-tone and sophisticated.

Casecrown has done a good job with the choice of shades and the overall design of this iPhone 4 case. The exterior has a somewhat metallic look that shines and sparkles when exposed to light. Besides the appearance, the Chameleon Glider case is a strong contender for being the best iPhone 4 case since it does a solid job of offering protection to the iPhone 4. Its side borders have ridges that ensure a smooth and firm grip which is important since a lot of damage on most mobile phones is a result of the phone slipping from the owner’s hands. The case contains felt inside to keep the phone scratch-free and to make the movements in and out of the case smooth. The case also comes with a skin to protect the screen of the iPhone 4 from scratches and dirt. Another great feature is that it doesn’t obstruct access to the iPhone features of volume, camera and charger. Overall, one of my favorite iPhone 4 cases for winning the title.

CASE #3 – OTTERBOX UNIVERSAL DEFENDER CASE

Third up for this best case for iPhone 4 review, is the OtterBox Universal Defender Case for iPhone 4 which is normally available at $49.95 but in case you get lucky and happen to get it at discount, the discounts can go up to 57% off at times. The fit this case gives with the Verizon iPhone 4 is something I was quite impressed with. They actually feel like they’re made for each other. My friends have the AT&T iPhone 4 and they tell me the Otterbox case works perfectly well with that one too.

The grip the case offers is another wonderful feature – the material they’ve used for the case is strong and non-slippery. Something all case manufacturing companies should learn from since this is one of the most important aspects of a phone case. Most other people I know who own the Otterbox iPhone 4 case are quite happy with it as well so it’s a tried and tested case that lets you access the features of the iPhone 4 without any issue. This one also comes with an inner felt lining that cushions the phone in case of a fall.

CASE #4 – CASE MATE ID CREDIT CARD SLIM

The next case in line is the Case Mate ID Credit Card Slim Case which is available in three color variants – black, pink and silver. I bought the silver one since black has become a bit too common. Silver stands out in the crowd and so does the owner of the silver Case-Mate ID Credit Card Slim Case. I was qute happy with its price – its available at $34.99 and if you’re lucky you could get it at $21.70 at a discounted price.

This case too gives one access to all the ports and all the controls of the iPhone4 and like its name suggests is a slim case that aids portability as it easily slips into my pants’ pockets. The good thing is that there is just about enough space to fit in my driver’s license beside my phone in the case as well. Since it’s a slim design that’s all it can accommodate. A good case if looks are your primary concern when it comes to phone cases.

The last iPhone 4 case we will talk about in our quest to find the best case for iPhone 4 is certainly going to be a hit with our hippest readers is is quite frankly more of a skin, in stead of a case. It is called Gelaskins and you could visit their website to get a customized skin for your iPhone 4. A real case for the young and the trendy who like to have something more exciting than the plain look of the more regular cases.

You can choose a cover design and there are over a 100 ‘standard’ artworks to choose from. If you want to get crazy, like I did, then design your own case, from scratch! Ever since I got this case for my iPhone 4, everyone and anyone who sees it asks me where I got it from. If you want to get popular fast, this is a good purchase.
